Millions of Tiny Hoes
For hard compacted soils we recommend to do what the pros do. Drop down gypsum after
aerating. Gypsum is a natural soil conditioner that works like millions of tiny hoes to loosen heavy clay soil.
Gypsum Benefits:
- Lets air and water penetrate, improves drainage
- Counteracts salt damage, replaces harmful sodium to permit the growth of grass
- Increases fertilizer effectiveness
- Adds vital nutrients, sulfate, sulfur and soluble calcium
The best time to apply gypsum is after the lawn has been mechanically aerated. The gypsum will fall into the holes and will work its way down deeper into the soil for more effectiveness.

Four Seasons Lawn Aeration L.L.C can apply Cal-Sul pelletized gypsum for $20 (front lawns up to 1000
sq.ft.) and $35 (front and back lawns up to 2000 sq.ft.) and only $10 extra for every 1000 sq.ft. after 2000 sq.ft.
